Park MGM is the only smoke-free casino/hotel in Vegas.

How many casinos are in Las Vegas? There are 66 casinos in Las Vegas.
My criteria is at least one of the following:
(1) has table games (e.g., not Longhorn)
(2) is on the strip (e.g., Casino Royale)
(3) has at least 20k sf gaming area (Tuscany)
AND must have a Las Vegas address (not Henderson, NV, e.g. "M" Resort).

The Vegas Strip casinos, from North to South

<<west side of the street east side of the street>>

Strat
2000 S. LVB (Las Vegas Blvd.)

Formerly the Stratosphere, this is the big tower, which provides the best view of Vegas. There are three super-scary thrill rides at the very top.  Best hotel value on the Strip.  Table games area of the high limit room is non-smoking (super-rare in Vegas).

 Sahara 2535 S. LVB

The Beatles stayed here in 1964. A thriving Rat Pack casino back in the day.  It was renamed "SLS" for 2014-19, then reverted to Sahara on 8/29/19.

Circus Circus
   2880 S. LVB

Has an actual circus and a carnival midway with games and rides. Also features a 5-acre theme park (the Adventure Dome) with roller coasters, laser tag, and an IMAX theatre.

 Fontainebleau 2777 S. LVB

The Beatles stayed here in 1964. A thriving Rat Pack casino back in the day.  It was renamed "SLS" for 2014-19, then reverted to Sahara on 8/29/19.

Slots-a-Fun
  2890 S. LVB

Casino only; no hotel.

Resorts World
  3000 S. LVB

The whole side of the hotel is a giant video screen, which had the world's largest game of Pac Man played on it in 2023.

Encore 3121 S. LVB

The sister of the Wynn, and right next to it.

Wynn 3131 S. LVB

Treasure Island  3300 S. LVB

They discontinued the pirate battle shows, but the big pirate boat is still out front.

Palazzo 3325 S. LVB

Little sister of the Venetian.

The Venetian
3355 LVB

"With two historians on retainer, The Venetian takes very seriously the integrity of the resort's architectural authenticity. Look for singing gondoliers, mask makers, glass-blowers, and other artisans in St. Mark's Square." (from the now-defunct Access Las Vegas)

Mirage

3400 S. LVB

Popular exploding volcano (free). Tropical rainforest in 100-foot dome. Soon to become the Hard Rock Hotel-Casino, in the shape of a giant guitar.

 Casino Royale
3411 S. LVB

They removed the table games in 2020. :(

 Harrah's 3475 S. LVB

Linq  3535 S. LVB

Home of the big ferris wheel.  Most of the hotel rooms have balconies—rare in Vegas. Formerly Imperial Palace.

Caesars Palace
  3570 S. LVB

Roman theme. Moving statue show at the end of the Forum Shops.

The Flamingo
 3555 S. LVB

The oldest Strip property (1947!).

The Cromwell
3595 S. LVB

Boutique hotel, on the site of the former Bill's Gamblin' Hall, which was itself the former Barbary Coast.

Bellagio 3600 S. LVB

One of the most luxurious casinos in Vegas, along with The Venetian and the Wynn. The outside water fountain show is a free, must-see attraction.

 Horseshoe  3645 S. LVB
Formerly Bally's.

 Paris  3655 S. LVB

One-third scale Eiffel Tower (50-stories), offers great view of the Strip, though it's not free. Oddly enough, they don't offer French roulette (single-zero) on the main floor, though they sometimes have it in the high limit room.

Cosmpolitan
3708 S. LVB

 Planet Hollywood  3667 S. LVB

Formerly Aladdin.

Aria  3730 S. LVB

Park MGM
3770 S. LVB

The only non-smoking casino in Vegas!  Formerly Monte Carlo.

New York-NY
  3790 S. LVB

NY theme, done to the hilt. Outside you see skyscrapers and the Statue of Liberty. Inside, their roller coaster cars look like yellow taxicabs.

MGM Grand  3799 S. LVB

Movie theme.

Excalibur  3850 S. LVB

Medieval theme; Fantasy Faire midway

 Tropicana  3801 S. LVB

Planned to be demolished to make way for a baseball stadium.

Luxor  3900 S. LVB

This is the Big Black Pyramid That Shoots the White Laser Into the Sky. There's also a huge sphinx out front.  But inside, the Luxor has done away with the Egyptian theme.

Mandalay Bay
 3950 S. LVB

Site of the worst mass shooting in U.S. history (58 killed).  Imprisoned sharks.  Free monorail runs to Luxor and Excalibur.

Practice gambling with play money

Before you throw down your hard-earned cash in a casino, PRACTICE FIRST!  Learn the games with play money where it doesn't cost you anything if you lose.  Seriously.

You can play Bovada's games (below) right away without registering for an account.  Most every other online casino makes you give up your email address just to play the fake-money games — ugh.  That's the main reason Bovada is the only online casino that gets advertising space on my site.  (When you see the registration box, you can cancel it and proceed to the game without registering.)
