Vegas hotels without casinos
Last Update: June 2023
Most visitors stay at a hotel that has an attached casino, but there are lots of hotels without casinos. There's not much upside to staying at a casino without a hotel, but there's one possible benefit: if your non-casino hotel is non-smoking, then you get to completely avoid the smoke. All of the hotels with casinos allow smoking (except Park MGM), and you've generally got to walk through the smoky casino to get to the elevator. Anyway, here's a partial list of some notable hotels without casinos.
On the strip
Delano. It's the second tower at Mandalay Bay.
Nobu. It's a separate tower at Caesars Palace.
Vdara. It's right next to Aria in CityCenter.
Waldorf Astoria. In CityCenter.
Near the strip
Alexis Park. A nice boutique hotel, about a 20-minute walk from the strip.
Courtyard (Convention Center). The rare chain hotel.
English Hotel. A boutique hotel from celebrity chef Todd English. It's adults-only, not in a naughty way, more like a "we-hate-kids" way. At 921 S. Main St., halfway between the Strat tower and the downtown casinos.
The Lexi. Cannabis-friendly (though smoking on-site still seems to be illegal despite the hotel's policy; marijuana use is limited to private residences by law and hotel rooms don't count). On the SE corner if I-15 and Sahara. Adults only, 64 rooms, opened in June 2023, formerly Artisan.
Marriott (Convention Center)
Platinum. All-suite hotel, about a 10-minute walk from the strip.
Renaissance. Luxury hotel by Marriott, near the convention center.
Residence Inn. By Marriott, near the convention center, pet-friendly.
Royal Resort. Closed in 2021. On Convention Center drive.
Westin. A few minutes' walk from the big ferris wheel.
Downtown
Oasis at The Gold Spike. The Gold Spike was a wonderfully cheap/sketchy casino/hotel, then they closed in 2013 and reopened as a boutique hotel only, with no casino.
